Tilorien Monastery

Covid-19 regulations for Visitors

You are welcome again to visit Tilorien Monastery and stay for some time but some Covid-19 regulations apply.

From 1st July the following rules are applicable but note that rules are subject to change so please check https://www.info-coronavirus.be/ for up-to-date details.

For Belgians:
If you cannot show an EU Corona Certificate, we ask that you do a self-test on arrival at the monastery. This self-test is available at your local pharmacy. If you have any symptoms, please do not come.

For EU citizens:
It is mandatory to complete a Passenger Location Form (PLF). You must fill it in at the earliest 48 hours before your arrival in Belgium. If you return from a green or orange zone, you do not have to go into quarantine or be tested. Please note that zones can change color code. If you are returning from a red zone you do not have to go into quarantine if you can show an EU corona certificate. Note that if you have not been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks or cannot produce a recovery certificate, you must have a new negative PCR test no more than 72 hours old. You can check zones on this website: https://reopen.europa.eu/en

For non-EU citizens:
Unfortunately we cannot allow you to come at this time. For some countries in Europe we might be able to make an exception so please contact us to discuss possibilities.

During you stay:
During you stay we ask you to keep social distance, use alcohol gel regularly (provided) and wear a facemask if you are going out of the monastery to shops or to meet people.
